How's Life after Marriage?

Question of the day.. It seems to be the favourite question thrown to me these days =) how do i answer dat? Marriage is somehow personal, how could i ever answer that. keeping quiet & start smiling away would be the best trick. And, i dont think i could ever blog on this.

Nevertheless, i know that it is not a simple task. I do envy people who can juggle career on one hand, family on the other hand, N they do not need third or fourth hand to handle sports, kids & every possible etc stuff to be done. How i envy sportsmum/dad who can survive in between these hectic schedule. Or do i envy those enthusiasts; coaches; photog; hikers; travellers; whoever putting family & career & passion above all. They have their sacrifices done. N yet, they could still complete races, improve timing, attempt training& practices, do things they love; still be able to tend to their family's need. Daylight careerlike, night-time family oriented; weekend warriors & part-time dreamer ( ya, they need huge dreams to make it possible)

This would be the next thing to do, at least for me. Todate, I think I am still selfish enough to be able to dedicate my time for sports. N attempting races i like. No one can force me to do what i like; but somehow i need to start squeezing all other stuff into my schedule (will try sacrifice every other time i have; social time, tv time, resting time, moody time, daydreamings & lay them into a balanced timetable) Balance for me would be more of sports/races, then family + career; hehe... mmg tak betol perempuan ni..
By the way; hehe.. mmg jual ikan...
Mon - core, erg 1hr
Tues - jog 10k, erg 30min
Wed - Gym 5x, swim 1.6k
Thurs - plan for light training (core, 10k jog, 1.5k swim)
Fri - Rest
Weekend - Jom g jalan... =)

  2. hi dear,

perfectly, same thoughts here. when it comes to family & personal life, never ever talk about it here ;) walaupun masa kat dunia luar, dua2 dah tarik muncung macam itik serati. we're so lucky that islam is our religion and sports is our passion. u can ease all the problems thru that and it helps a lot

just keep on with your passion, love your life to the fullest

    love,
    jaja

  4. a bit late to comment but an interesting post not to :)
i guess it needs a bit of tweaks and adjustments to fit in your workouts/trainings into marriage/family commitments. Especially if you're like a clockwork and manage your schedule pre-marriage. This is bound to get disrupted when you get married however hard you try. It's only recently that I get to go out and do my workouts since my daughter is getting more independent. I go out very early in the morning and come back before the family wake up and still have time spend with them. rule of thumb - work around a schedule that would make everyone happy. well, almost :) weekends are normally tough since you have family events, bla, bla, bla. like i have to alter my long run to saturday since I have to be in m'cca over the weekend. it's not about juggling, really. more of prioritizing. good luck! :)
