Pesta Air Langkawi 2010

Sit ontop kayak for races

Muka pas kayak...

It was NOT planned, NOT expected, NOT cheap and NOT-to-forget experience. Tetibe come last Thurs, we got to know there was a 12km kayak race going on at Langkawi. Cost calculated, plan done last minutely, checked & rechecked, we eventually headed to Langkawi that very next morning. It was definitely a very tiring trip. The kayak race was so menggoda, that i think we wouldnt do a double kayak for 12k distance somewhere near dam. No practise, no nothing & know nothing.. we head towards Pantai Cenang on Saturday for its race.

On race day, the feeling was so good. Though we were among the back pack, still we could manage to overtake 3 boats overall in Mixed Team. Shoulder felt so stiff after. Though there was a race, our main reason was mere to shop for ourself all the kitchen utensils for our new home coming soon. Its tax free after all. Not so free, when we were detained & summoned by the custom for buying so much during the one nite stay. Minimum is 2 nites stay, anyway, we sweet talked the officer and discounted ourselves fairly much. =)
