Chinese Practitioner

Me & Faisal visited a chinese practitioner recently. Armed with some poor linguistic skill , I started speaking to him with my join-the-dot conversation. He made things worse when i requested for the simplest form of mandarin, & he said he did. We were just there to have our health checked. Feeling my pulses, he maintained silent for few seconds.

Then, " are you a muslim?" To my surprise, i answered yes. Giving me insufficient time to shoot another questions, he was already reading out loud my health problem etc etc. He wanted to prescribe chinese medicine right away, but immediately i asked him the cost. He was stubbornly stone headed to proceed prescribing me chinese herbs & to bill me later, but i was adamantly stubborn to refuse that as well. we went back empty headed.

Only thing that was confusing, how did he know being muslim from reading the pulse? Some did mention, eating different meat emit different heat; in which some special people can read, while some did say bout some difference in blood circulation among muslim & none. Or maybe it was just merely a different in pulses between athelete & none. Check this & this as we did do some research online =)
