What a Weekend

2010 - It started off with some client meetings towards the weekend. Some needs to be pampered, others need to be pacified to seal off the contract. First week, we had managed to secure a big contract with government body. Fuh..Putting it aside, Friday itself i had declared myself a half day off.. Officialy it was an emergency, unofficial; it was just a small DIY reward meant for me & myself. Then, Faisal pick me up & head to Suria Tower.

Friday
I was lucky to be given a shot for an interview for Powerbar Elite Team member. It happened last year as well, but I did not manage it as I was tied at work. Trying to clear my mind, I cant help myself but to roll my eyes left to right, looking at all the other applicant as well. We were scattered. Then, I saw familiar faces. =)

Interview was nice. Though I was first briefed that it was just a simple chat, still I had fluttery butterflies while answering the questions. I answered what I know, what i did not & what i would like to know. It turned out to be longer than I thought. Like any kind of essay, it started with some intro, some backbone/ground & ended with some comments. Foolishly, I said the reward should go to the person who deserves; instead of the reward should go to me as I deserve it. Everyone would sell themself at the highest price possible. Still, it will be a big motivation to me if it comes to me =)

Saturday
Its familyday =) went to Melaka for a vacation with my inlaws. We headed to Waterworld for some fun. There are 3 askars (SIL's kids) following us. As faisal & me were more adventurous, the elder soldier soldiered on with us. MIL woke up as early as 4am to prepare for our lunch; I woke up as early as 4am too.. but for a completely different thing, a 20km run lakegarden - srihartamas - LG. Ran with Faisal, Bacin, Anita, Daud =)

Sunday
Melaka vacation continued with a trishaw trip, some shoppings, serious food tasting & back to KL.

Monday
Still monday blues

  3. it wasn't harsh but I think I was plainly sincere and straight to the point which i think don't really work well in interviews....stupid me. p/s I was telling them that I prefer a pack of nasi lemak more than their powerbar. yikes! (just incase if they are reading this entry, I would like to take back my words ......) ok ker? :)
