Solid Solat

One of my to-do list =) hope it is achieveable. Kind of found some solitude in it. Not all the time, but at times. At times, i felt like a bullet train =( semua nak kejar, nak kejar keja, training, race, family, etc that there is no full stop. Wont blog much bout it, as i dun think i have adequate essence on this. Just some experience =)

There was once, I went to Mid Valley's surau. It was crowded. I took wudhu first & then tried to find some decent space after that. To my surprise; I found some people booked the place with their bags etc, then wudhu. Solat pun kena berebut gitu yek? Was it the trend?

Or at times, dengan selamba i solat while the other gender were in the surau. There was only 1 surau at that petrol station; rather, I was kind of kena sound because solat ngan selamba. if i were to wait, there are other guys around already. hehe, so selamba lar =)

  1. Generally speaking, many of Muslims in our country are still pretty rigid in doing ibadah, e.g. kalau takde surau 'takleh' solat, kalau takde kain pelikat/telekung 'takleh' solat, etc. etc. This is some example of wrong thinking/conception of ibadah, or more like 'menipu diri sendiri' kind of thing.

Islam is easy. It's our own ignorance for not wanting to learn more about it to support our ibadah. Maybe many are also saying "kalau tak tau lagi bagus, at least tak berdosa", which is another misconseption. Because, acquiring knowledge in Islam is compulsary.

Jom kita sama2 improve ourselves to become better Muslims.

  2. I go with Nik. Exactly what I have in mind.

There are many others around the world who don't get the luxury of proper surau/masjid to solat, they just solat anywhere, with the clothes on their back.

  3. tq all.. actually it was intended to be an experience sharing material jer.. means; we all are aware of the situation, cuma takde courage lagi to solat di mana2 (hehe, pernah terpk gak solat kat taman, or atas rumput =))
