Weekend 20 - Gunung Tampin

Jom lar.. jom g gunung tampin.. <- ayat pancing.. tp tak kene umpan pun.. this time around, i failed to get my friends to join me to tampin race..

woke up early 5.30, reluctantly i pulled myself out of the bed. hit the road @ 6am, drove straight to South. While driving, I was still figuring out if i should go for this.. Mmg i suka naik gunung.. if takder race cmni, mmg tak naik aa gunung tampin ni... Felt lazy this time as i m travelling alone.. hmm..

once i reached, i sensed that it was all ok.. met up with regular racers, gosip-warmed up-gosip-register-gossip.. bla bla blubber..

psst.. kenyans pun ada.. yg menang London marathon pun ade skali..

what??? race kecik ni pun kenyan nak nyibuk? & sok they will head to KL for NB 15k run. I met up some new friends... exchanged stories & off we go.. this time's race is much better than tioman. i could run more than previous, felt satisfied. it was on-road for 1hr, uphill & winding.. then offroad for 1 hr (naik turun) then another 40mins run on tar. offroad trail was superb. nicely done, unlike tioman / bera with raw trail (mcm mkn steak plak..)

this time, though i won some very small amount of money; hardly enough to cover the travelling, however, i felt really satisfied because i think i had done better than tioman. Though my run is not that fast, but it was a personal victory for me. I guess i mmg have to train alot more now..
