Dont be surprised if the kids can swim much faster than you thought =)
Hub & I volunteered or Trikidz last week. We only managed to help out only on Sunday, the race day itself.
Wishful thinking : Volunteering myself to be the swim coach, clad in swim suit with a bump would be such an added floating factor.
Reality check : I was put in charged of the fully airconditioned-registration area, the project director was considering all factors.. hihi..
It was hub's first time experience, volunteering for such project. Race went on for the whole morning, we have seen supportive/kiasu parents/kids, which sometimes amazed us. Glad that this event is getting its more loyal fan than before, & hope it continues.
After that was attending a friend's wedding reception. The bride & groom clicked when they were going for adventure race, cool isnt it? We were at the vip seats, food served for 10, but there were only 4 of us. So, we had the feast all to ourselves =)

ReplyDeletehi! i'm one of the supportive but not kiasu parents (and a loyal Trikidz fan too). glad to be able to meet you in person that day. such a sweet gal considering yr involvement in tri-sports. thank you all for making Trikidz happen and keep up the great job. do take care of yr precious bump too!
