First trisemester, hormone relaxin being released. They are meant to soften our bones, hence easier delivery later on. And guess what it does to the runner? It ease the stretching part, at the same time we are more injury-prone. It is more intensified at first & third trisem. Increased relaxin, blood volume, oxygen. However it also comes with increase of load & burden. Breathing felt more like panting. Jogging felt so lagging behind. The only thing that maintained was the swim. Perhaps more floating factor, increased fat I assume.

I was worried death, for knowingly knew that preg shouldnt carry on jogging. However, doubled confirm with my gynea. Actually I did not mention the jogging part, only told her I am still into sports. She assumed swimming, I guessed. Babe seemed very active during my first scan at week 12. He/she was kicking all the way during the scan. Doctor says too active, but still a normal one after me asking 2-3 times, babe normal?? I guess doctor gave an indirect YES for my activities.

Contemplated to run illegally at putrajaya marathon, a half would be nice. Got some nice lectures from coach. Yup, first trisemester would be the most critical months. Its the time baby develop, engage & start to grow strong. Right towards end of week 12, I guess the pantang for longer hour training ends as well.

Week 12, ran some 13km at BJ with some running buddies. There, I came across Dr Zana.. She is a gynea herself.. talking to her, i felt like i found a sunshine.. There are not many gynea into running I guess. So, can a preg run?? A firm NO, she says.. then there and then I kept quiet & continued running with her. Will talk to her again the next week itself. Felt extremely exhausted after long training, but some rest did alleviate the fatigue.

Mumy, nak lagi...
???? mumy penat lar...

I think i heard small voices... babe felt jogging more like a rocking ride... with uterus so thick, & babe so small, all sports encourages more movement from babe.
