1) If you are serious about training, get an exercise machine in your home.. at your own comfort. I had one & it is the best investment I had ever done. Yes, it is not cheap, but again, health is more valuable than anything else.
2) If I were myself 5 years back, all my training session would have lasted more than 1 hr. Anything less would be deemed not beneficial; as it is not time-efficient training. Not anymore. Even a 15min workout is precious. It might not break a sweat; however; it makes us more determined to hold our next training session a little bit more than before. Eventually the training gets longer.
3) Must dedicate 1 slot for yourself to indulge. Not indulging a facial; or a massage; but a slot just for training. Solid 1 hour would do, anything more is most welcomed. However, facial can be treated as a reward if it is achieved.
4) If you have a bike, then get a trainer. Start doing cycling in the house. Bored? dump in some movies, some songs & cycle till you get more bored. No motivation? Seeing the needle in the scale moves to right will make u start cycle again.
5) If you have a car, then dont use it. Try walking if the stores are nearby.
6) Go stairs. It burns calorie. Better still if your office is high rise. Do it once a day & notice the difference.
7) Pack your bag with training clothings. Anytime I go see a client, will arrange in such a way that a swimming session can be slotted in. Anyway the only swimming session I can afford
8) Get a train partner. Can be virtual, can be real, can be just a listener, can be your partner. If partner is slower than you, make it such a way that you train more in that longer duration of time. If your partner is faster, try keep up with the pace longest possible, then stick to your own pace. If virtual, exchange training log; motivate each other. It works.
9) Go OUTDOOR once a while. You feel total different state of training.
10) Sacrifice some sleep. Some I had known, wakes up at 4am just to train. Talking bout dedication. That goes back to point 1, when you have your own device; or it can be point 9 when once a while you get to be the crazy guy who does training in the middle of the night.
