Dam - weight training

Went to dam yesterday. It was like my 2nd home when I was once, solo molo. Hit the weight set & started to do strength sets. Squat, Lunges, Bench press & Bench pull (forgot the name); about 15reps for 5 sets, at 30kg weight. A formula for trouble; as I have stopped doing weights for about 1 year plus. Strength was still there, but not the agility & balancing. I really wanted to feel the muscle burnt after that.



Then, Wan came with his digital weighing machine. Deym.. I thought the weighing scale at boat house was condemned, peace at heart. Skali he brought in his digital scale & started weighing himself in front of me. Well, being rowers, we have this thing called light weight & open mentality. For we have once dieted through the whole of season of training & competition; weight really is a big deal for us. Wan weighed & proved himself to be still in the light weight category. Then Acap weighed & lastly I was forced to weigh as well. OPEN!!! huhu, just 2 kg off the bench mark for light weight. Kecoh satu boathouse.. siot nyer wan.. then happily they went off to their training.. I miss the kekecohan in boathouse. Made me feel like years younger.



Today, since Aydeen is still asleep at 6am, I secretly made myself out of the house & straight to Batu Caves. Managed 7x walking up the steps before preparing for work. For one thing, I am feeling the ache creeping right into my butt; bull's eye.. Some soreness that I wouldnt get from running or swimming. I miss this pain..

Still, there is alot to catch up..


Wan, who unfortunately had an accident 3 months ago is now walking freely & has started to train now. He had a very fast recovery..
