Thanks to hub & aydeen for making this happen. Went for Tambun orienteering last Sunday. It was fun, a 1hr 30mins race for the orienteers. We went around looking for the check points; punchers etc etc. As this is short race, everyone sprinted like crazy. Well, I think I meant to sprint, but guess it didnt turn out as planned. I need to up my serious training. Still figuring.. OK, stop complaining.. thank god this happened, as i was still confused wether to join or not.. after all, there was about 300 participants. Turned out, my category has very few participants.
Its a race with tactical checkpoints (CP). Every CP has a puncher for you to punch in on the report card. However, this is not tactical enough where we strategize which point to collect & which to leave out. The format is simple & easy. Go grab all the points in the fastest time you could. Hence, confused-me started abit late as my processor slowly digests map. Something to do with women cant read map; men cant multi-task? not at all, i guess.

Start of race.. Looking thoroughly through the map, figuring where I was.. with my superb direction sense (excellent in making others lost in where ever they are); I had a slow start

I tertido sebab mummy sungguh lembap..

Finally, finished the race with a satisfied smile.. First completed in 39mins, I was 51mins.. 3/5. much to catch up.. apart from performance to catch up, managed to catch up with the racers on their life & happenings too =)

Congrats both :) wahh.. hubby pun skrg makin aktif? :) too bad x dapat join. Xpe, next one akan join :P *share some tips?* :P
