It has been 2 weeks since the accident. Record breaking news that I managed to stay in house for more than a week in a row. Never done that since I cant remember when. Being inactive is definitely boring. But, what can I do. I am totally dependent totally on my mum to get things going. Food served, room cleaned, etc; damn, I am such a baby. Yeah, I think i was cruel to totally immerse myself with training before this, leaving mum alone most of the time. Nyesal pulak...
Though, that incident taught me a thing or two. That safety comes first before anything else. <-skang jer pikir cmtu, bile da OK, lain pulak citer. But, it is very true. If you are safe & healthy, you have all the coming years to continue doing what you like. Imagine getting injured like forever<-takleh nak bayangkan. However, to get the mood to train is already hard. Say tetiba esok teringin nak kayuh jauh, N takde gang. How? <- this is one thing that I will figure out soon.
That also, once an athlete, always there in your heart. Taking away exercise from an athlete is one thing you will never be able to do. Ya, I was sort of paralyse, but then started some core & am doing pilates for now. So, you all, never feel guilty if you missed sessions of training. As you will always find ways to make up for it. Either that, or athletes will go back to coaching, event watching & etc even if they dont do sports anymore. Its the passion, its in us.
And I learnt that family will be the one that you fall back at the lowest point of your life. So, start loving them. You only have them once in your life.
And yes, my cast will be taken off tomorrow for second session of X-rays. Hope all is working well & please, please do not take sports away from me. XOXO
