oooppss.. i wished that would listed in the bag.. UNCHECK all.... i think a labour bag is supposed to look like below.
2nd Bag
maternity attire
hub's attire
baby's attire
* powergel - for energy
* recovery drink - for recovery
* got to know that we cannot eat much prior to labour.. nanti termuntah kang.. where else to get the energy, light & loaded, easy on stomach, other than the trusted energy gel?? Did a small survey & found out labour consumes up to 50,000 calories depending on how hard/long the contraction is, how much to push etc..
In comparison, its equivalent to 100 x 1hr jog (burning 500++ cal an hour for easy jog) or 100 x 1hr erg (500cal an hour). Is that true? well, guess powergel stays in 1st & 2nd bag...

Hahahaha!!! You seriously bringing powergels to the labor room? Funny lah you!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I think kan, since you've always been the active mommy, you'll have what it needs to sustain that energy level during hours and hours of labor.
All the best and when it gets tough, just remember it won't last long. I think ironman is longer, hehe.
My officemate also due around raya, first baby jugak.
